Patti Ann Ranum was born and raised in the world of Irish dancing. Throughout her competitive Irish dance career, she won numerous medals and trophies, including 1st place in Senior Ladies at the first ever Western Regional Oireachtas. She was the first dancer from the West coast to represent the Western Region at the World Championships in Ireland. She received her T.C.R.G. from An Commission in 1981 and her A.D.C.R.G. in 1997. Her knowledge of dance is not limited to Irish. She has had extensive training in various types of dance, including, ballet, jazz, Scottish, and tap. She has raised 5 children to whom she will pass the legacy of the Healy School on.
